When we met with Megan and Jeremy a couple of months ago at Starbucks, they were so excited to get this wedding ball rolling. She had a wedding day planner in her arms and was literally jumping up and down when we greeted them, to which we reciprocated because we so cannot wait to work with these two again! They have such a sweet connection to each other and their positive energy gives us life and makes us fall in love with what we do all over again! We chatted over coffee about their story, their plans, and of course the wedding itself. We love how well organized Megan is and how excited she is about all of the details they have chosen. We decided on Sedona engagement photos because that is where Jeremy asked her to marry him back in January. From there it was up to us to find the perfect spot. After several outings to location scout we found the perfect spot by Baby Bell Rock. A Sedona sunset does not disappoint with their flowing light falling around Cathedral Rock in the distance.
Last weekend we had the most perfect spring day for Sedona engagement photos with these two joyful lovebirds. You may recognize this groom to be and that’s because we met Megan and Jeremy last October when we were shooting James and Chelsea’s Wedding. Jeremy is James’ little brother (and was a groomsman in their wedding) and sweet Megan helped me with my lighting equipment while I was shooting getting ready photos for Chelsea!
These two have such a great energy together. They both like to joke around that Jeremy is a jerk but really, he is a great guy and it’s so obvious how crazy in love he is with this girl. He can’t help but be sweet on her and we can see why. Not only is Megan sweet and a natural beauty, but she’s also silly, can take a joke as well as she hands them out and is so much fun to be around. She’s clearly the just the light of his life!
He loves baseball but Megan doesn’t sport (we don’t either) but regardless of the fact that she doesn’t sport she was enthusiastic about wearing Jerseys they had made up for their shoot with the wedding hashtag (#sneesbysarethebeesknees) as names on the jerseys and their wedding date as their numbers! So cute guys! We did their jersey photos first in the afternoon sun and saved their dressier outfits for last so we could turn up the heat with the romance in that desert glow of a Sedona sunset.
We can’t wait to shoot their wedding next year in Glendale at Tercero, a beautiful new venue that will make their wedding colors and flowers pop with their desert chic vibe.
